The 14th Dalai Lama - the current Dalai Lama and head monk of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1989, and well known for his lifelong advocacy for Tibetans inside and outside Tibet - born on Saturday July 6th 1935, in Taktser, China. The 14th Dalai Lama has powerful personality, and possesses great potential for success, but this power is delicate and conditioned by a strong commitment of his to his ideals and vision, which must be used to inspire others to join him in his dream. Entrepreneurial and progressive, The 14th Dalai Lama is ever-striving, heading for the top, and enjoying an enterprising, ambitious and determined personality to do things well, and an unyielding dedication to his plan until the goals are achieved. He bounces back easily from setbacks and can overcome any adversities or obstacles thrown in his way. There is danger, however that his trait of determination and dedication will shift to stubbornness, making Tenzin Gyatso cling to ideas and projects well past their fruitious season. His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, is the spiritual and temporal leader of the Tibetan people. He was born in a small village called Taktser in northeastern Tibet. Born to a peasant family, His Holiness was recognized at the age of two, in accordance with Tibetan tradition, as the reincarnation of his predecessor the 13th Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lamas are the manifestations of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, who chose to reincarnate to serve the people. Dalai Lama means Ocean of Wisdom.
